Review: Knight Shift

Knight Shift
Knight Shift by Krista D. Ball
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Silly me, I read book 3 in this series before I read book 2, but once I had started, I didn’t want to stop. I’ll backtrack now. :) I thoroughly enjoyed this installment of Krista Ball’s paranormal novellas set in Newfoundland. Being from Cape Breton, “the Rock” (NFLD) is only a hop, skip, and jump (and a seven-hour ferry ride) away, so I loved the touches of familiar dialect and geography. The series’ main character, Rachel, is in fine form in this tale and really coming to grips with her abilities as a Spirit Caller. Lots of romance, intrigue, and paranormal goings-on with the always-entertaining and sometimes terrifying spirits who populate Rachel’s world. If you like paranormal romance you should definitely check out this series.
